Presence is more than a dating platform—it's a private membership community built for adults 25 years of age and older who believe that meaningful relationships begin with authenticity, respect, and genuine human connection.
Our members choose Presence because they value intentional dating over endless swiping, thoughtful conversations over superficial interactions, and emotional maturity over games.
These Community Standards reflect the values that define the Presence experience. By joining our community, you agree to uphold these standards and contribute to an environment where every member feels respected, safe, and valued.
Our Mission
Our mission is to create a community where intentional people can meet with confidence, communicate authentically, and build meaningful relationships.
Every interaction should reflect the belief that the quality of our community is determined by the character of its members.
Respect Comes First
Treat every member with dignity and respect.
We expect members to:
Communicate with kindness and courtesy.
Respect differences in opinions, beliefs, cultures, and backgrounds.
Honor personal boundaries.
Accept "no" with grace.
Engage in conversations that promote trust and mutual respect.
Disrespectful, hostile, or degrading behavior has no place in the Presence community.
Be Authentic
Presence was built on authenticity.
Members should:
Use recent and accurate photos.
Represent themselves honestly.
Be truthful about their identity, relationship intentions, and life circumstances.
Present themselves in a way that reflects who they truly are.
Authentic connections begin with honest representation.
Date with Intention
Presence encourages meaningful relationships rather than casual interactions.
We encourage members to:
Be clear about their intentions.
Communicate openly.
Respect each other's time.
Approach every interaction with sincerity.
Focus on building genuine chemistry before making assumptions.
Intentional dating creates healthier experiences for everyone.
Communicate with Emotional Maturity
Healthy communication is one of the defining qualities of the Presence community.
Members are expected to:
Express themselves respectfully.
Listen with empathy.
Resolve disagreements without hostility.
Avoid manipulation or emotional games.
Communicate honestly rather than disappearing without explanation whenever reasonably possible.
Kindness and accountability strengthen our community.
Protect Each Member's Privacy
Trust depends on privacy.
Members should never:
Share another member's personal information without permission.
Record or distribute private conversations or video interactions without consent.
Publish screenshots, photos, or videos obtained through Presence without authorization.
Use information learned through the Platform to embarrass, intimidate, or exploit another member.
Every member deserves to feel safe sharing their authentic self.
Foster an Inclusive Community
Presence welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds, cultures, professions, and life experiences.
Discrimination, harassment, or exclusion based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic is inconsistent with our values and will not be tolerated.
We believe meaningful relationships are strengthened by mutual respect and appreciation for our differences.
Prioritize Safety
Your safety—and the safety of every member—is essential.
We encourage members to:
Take time to get to know one another.
Meet in public places for initial in-person dates.
Trust their instincts.
Report behavior that raises safety concerns.
Seek emergency assistance when necessary.
Presence may investigate reports of behavior that threatens the safety or well-being of the community.
Respect Graceful Rejection
Not every introduction will lead to a relationship.
Members are expected to:
Accept rejection respectfully.
Avoid repeated unwanted contact.
Refrain from retaliatory or abusive behavior.
Recognize that compatibility cannot be forced.
Respecting another person's decision demonstrates emotional maturity.
Protect the Presence Experience
Every member plays a role in preserving the quality of our community.
We ask members to:
Report fake profiles or suspicious activity.
Help maintain a respectful environment.
Avoid behavior that diminishes the experience for others.
Support a culture of trust, honesty, and intentional connection.
The strength of Presence depends on the integrity of its members.
Membership Is a Privilege
Presence is a curated private membership community.
To protect the experience for all members, we reserve the right to suspend or revoke membership when a member's conduct is inconsistent with these Community Standards, the Membership Agreement, the Terms of Service, or the Acceptable Use Policy.
These decisions are made to preserve the safety, integrity, and quality of the community.
