Presence Refund Policy

Welcome to Presence ("Presence," "we," "our," or "us").

This Refund Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, membership fees, and subscription payments are handled for all Presence memberships purchased through presencedatingapp.com or the Presence mobile application (when available).

By purchasing a Presence membership, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Refund Policy.

1. Membership Fees

Presence offers premium membership plans that provide access to exclusive features, curated introductions, and community benefits.

Membership fees are charged according to the membership plan selected during checkout.

All payments are processed securely through our authorized payment processor.

2. General Refund Policy

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, membership fees are generally non-refundable.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Membership application fees (if introduced)

  • Monthly membership fees

  • Annual membership fees

  • Founding Member memberships

  • Promotional memberships

  • Discounted memberships

  • Upgrade fees

  • Renewal payments

Because digital membership benefits become available immediately upon activation, refunds are generally not available after purchase.

3. Membership Cancellation

You may cancel your recurring membership at any time.

If you cancel:

  • Your membership will remain active through the end of your current billing period.

  • Your subscription will not renew for the next billing cycle.

  • No additional membership fees will be charged after your cancellation becomes effective.

Cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund for the current billing period.

4. Trial Offers and Promotional Periods

If Presence offers a free trial or promotional membership, additional terms may apply.

If you do not cancel before the trial or promotional period ends, your membership may automatically convert to a paid subscription at the then-current membership price.

Specific promotional terms will be disclosed at the time of the offer.

5. Membership Upgrade

If you choose to upgrade your membership during an active billing period, your new membership benefits may begin immediately.

Pricing adjustments, prorated charges, or credits will be handled in accordance with the pricing terms presented during the upgrade process.

6. Duplicate Charges

If you believe you have been charged more than once for the same membership in error, please contact us promptly.

Verified duplicate charges caused by a billing error may be corrected through a refund or account credit, as appropriate.

7. Unauthorized Transactions

If you believe your payment method has been used without your authorization, you should:

  • Contact your financial institution immediately.

  • Notify Presence as soon as reasonably possible.

Presence reserves the right to investigate claims of unauthorized transactions before issuing any refund or adjustment.

8. Chargebacks

If a chargeback is initiated through your financial institution:

  • Your membership may be temporarily suspended during the investigation.

  • Access to premium features may be restricted.

  • Presence reserves the right to dispute fraudulent or inaccurate chargebacks.

  • Repeated or abusive chargeback activity may result in permanent removal from the Presence community.

9. Membership Termination by Presence

If Presence suspends or terminates a membership because a member has violated the Terms of Service, Membership Agreement, Community Standards, or Acceptable Use Policy, no refund will be provided, except where required by applicable law.

10. Technical Issues

If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing your membership, please contact us before requesting a refund.

We will make reasonable efforts to investigate and resolve verified technical issues.

Where appropriate and permitted by law, Presence may offer:

  • A billing adjustment

  • An account credit

  • An extension of membership access

The remedy offered, if any, will be determined at our discretion based on the circumstances.

11. Changes to Membership Pricing

Presence reserves the right to modify membership pricing in the future.

Existing members will receive reasonable notice before any recurring subscription price changes become effective, as required by applicable law.

12. Exceptions Required by Law

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws.

Where the law requires a refund or other remedy, Presence will comply with those legal obligations.
